She has published articles in the AKC Gazette, The Wet Dog Soggy Paper, The Dog Training Club of Dallas County Paw Print, and The Malinois Performer.  

 Stella is a member of the following clubs: 

American Belgian Malinois Club:  (Member since 1996) Currently a member of the Board of Directors.  Formerly served as "Reporter" for a 7 state area to the Malinois Performer.

Dog Training Club of Dallas county (Member since 1994) Served as chair of the following committees:  Membership, Printing, Community Events, Healing Hounds Therapy Dog Group, and currently on the Training Committee and Chair of Healing Hounds.

Dog Related History/Accomplishments:

In 1999, Stella and "U-CDX Merson's Daddy Wags, CDX, ASCA-CDX, CGC, WETT, TT, HIC, HCT, TDI, AATD, O-V, ROM 3 - aka "Vandy" - earned three CDX titles, placing six times with one "High in Trial" and had a high score of 194.  They also earned the WETT title from Wet Dog for Canine Water Rescue.  Stella and Vandy actively participate in therapy dog work and are registered with Therapy Dogs International (TDI).  Additionally they go on monthly visits to Baylor Medical Center doing Animal Assisted Therapy Dog work (AATD).  Currently they are also studying for the Utility title and occasionally herding sheep.  Stella takes special pride in being honored with the Outstanding Versatile Canine Companion title from Clever Canine Companions Working Registry.
